The weeklong activities, which started with a launch on Sunday, 6th February 2022, was celebrated to enlighten children on how to be witnesses of Jesus Christ and to grow to be responsible adults.
As part of the week’s celebrations, a special talk was organized on Friday, February 11, 2022, for the children on the theme, “You will be my witnesses”, (Acts1:8). Mrs. Catherine Ayedzi-Vordzogbe, a Catechist of the Church, who facilitated the talk taught and encouraged the children on how to be witnesses of Jesus Christ and how to always keep themselves clean.
During the Mass to climax the week, the children performed various roles, some of which included mass serving, readings, ushering, and praying of faithful.
The Parish Priest of St. Stephen Catholic Church- Darkuman, Rev. Fr. Robert Billy Gbetey, encouraged the children to be witnesses of the Lord, and be polite children.
