MARY MOTHER OF GOOD COUNSEL SCHOOL PUPILS DONATE TO LEGACY OF HOPE PROJECT

As part of its 25th-anniversary celebrations, the Mary Mother of Good Counsel School, Airport West, Accra, made a donation to the Legacy of Hope project.

An amount of Twenty Five Thousand, Six Hundred and Eighty Ghana Cedis, Fifty pesewas (Ghs 25,680.50) was presented to the Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie at his residence on behalf of the Legacy of Hope project
This donation came from the school children’s contribution from their Lenten boxes which yielded Ghs 20,295 cedis during the period of Lent 2023 and 5,385.50 from collections during school masses over a period.

In attendance was the Financial Administrator of the Archdiocese Very Rev. Fr. John Neumann Tettehfio, the headmistress Rev. Sr. Francisca Asiedua Appiah, the Local Manager and Parish Priest of the Mary Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Thomas Betuyre, some teachers, and a special class of class 6 Rosewood who contributed the highest.

Fr. Betuyre thanked the PTA and the school children for their sacrifice. He encouraged all to teach our children the act of giving.
