The 130th anniversary of the Accra archdiocese is an opportunity to celebrate the Church’s contributions to the development of Ghana over the past century and a quarter. It is also an opportunity for the church to push Catholic businesses and also to create an avenue for socialisation among the members of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Accra.
The program is scheduled to take place on two days at the El wak sports stadium in Accra.
As part of the celebrations, the Accra Archdiocese as organizers of the program in collaboration with TV Africa and in partnership with media houses such as GTV, Metro TV, and others has lined up programs such as a business fair and food bazaar and playing of indigenous high life music with high life legends Nana Amakye Dede (Serious) and Samini on Sunday 30th April 2023.
On Monday 1st may 2023, there is going be games as well as a continuation of the business fair where members will be displaying their products and services.
As the Accra Archdiocese celebrates its 130th anniversary, let us celebrate the Church’s rich history and the contributions it has made to the development of Ghana. Let us also renew our commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church and work together to build a future for all Catholics and the Ghanaian society at large.
Make sure you are not left out of the celebrations, see you there.
