IGP and CDS praise Catholics working in their institutions

The President of the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference, Most Rev. Philip Naameh and the Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie paid a courtesy call on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr James Oppong-Boanuh on Thursday 9th July 2020 at the Police headquarters to share concerns of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference with the leadership of the Police Service.

A similar visit was paid to the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Lt. Gen. Obed Boamah Akwa at Burma Camp, also on Thursday 9th July 2020 to share concerns with the institution and assure them of the prayerful support of the Bishops Conference 

Both leaders; the IGP and CDS were full of praise for the Catholics working in the institutions, describing their catholic workers as “very disciplined and hardworking staff who can always be trusted to deliver”

The heads of the institutions promised to address concerns raised by the Bishops Conference and looked forward to more collaboration with the Conference and Catholic Church of Ghana
