CIBT bids goodbye to Archbishop Buckle

The Catholic Institute of Business and Technology has bid goodbye to its founding Chancellor, Most Rev. Gabriel Palmer-Buckle in a ceremony held earlier this month at the Holy Spirit Cathedral.

The fundraising dinner event, dubbed “An evening with CIBT chancellors” was attended by Most Rev. Gabriel Palmer-Charles Buckle (founding Chancellor-CIBT), Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp (chancellor-CIBT), Prof. Sylvester Achio (president – CIBT) and members from other universities.

Archbishop Buckle was presented with a citation of gratitude for his dedication to the growth of the institution.

Speaking at the ceremony, the prelate congratulated all who put in efforts to support the university in diverse ways. He welcomed the new chancellor, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp and saying he hands over the baton to him and will continue to remember him in prayers.

For his part, the president of the school Prof. Sylvester Achio called well-meaning Ghanaians to support the institution with some of its needs.

These he said include a school bus, lecture room furniture, auditorium chairs projector and screen, and photocopier machines among others.
