Assin Foso Deanery Catholic Youth Council Donates to Three Health Facilities

The Leadership of the Assin Foso Deanery Youth Council in the Cape Coast Archdiocese on Friday, May 1, 2020, donated PPEs to three health facilities within the Assin South and North districts in the Central Region to aid the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Mr. Raphael Yin-tang, the deanery youth Chairman, in the company of other deanery executives and four priests from the deanery presented the items to the leadership of the Nyankumasi Ahenkro Health Centre, Assin Nsuta Health Centre and Assin Bereku Health Centre.

Items presented include 15 boxes of hand gloves, 150 bottles of sanitizers, 20 gallons of liquid soap, 300 pieces of face masks, 3 pieces of Veronica buckets and 72 packs of tissues.

Speaking at the presentation, Rev. Fr. Francis Mbroh mentioned that, the donation is the youth’s widow’s mite to the facilities involved and expressed hope that the donation will help ease the burden of COVID-19 on the facilities and its staff and further thanked the health workers for their dedication and sacrifices.

Accra Archdiocese donates PPEs to four health facilities

Authorities of the mapped out facilities thanked the Council and promised to use the donation for its purpose.
