The Parish Youth Council of the Christ the King Catholic Church, Cantonments, organized a business fair as part of its upcoming Youth and Children’s Thanksgiving Harvest. The fair took place on Sunday, 29th August, 5th and 12th September, 2021, from 8:00am to 2:00pm each day. Over the three Sundays, a total of 21 exhibititors participated in the fair displaying a wide range of items including clothing, accessories, food items, such as fried yam with grilled chicken, ice cream, local drinks, fresh vegetables, fresh yogurt, non-food items like, plastics, hair products detergents and services. The rationale behind the fair was to raise funds for the youth harvest which will take place this Sunday, 19th September 2021, and also give young entrepreneurs in the church, the platform to make their business known. The event took place at the car park of the parish hall (left hand side of main entrance).
The fair was a huge success and exhibitors expressed their interest in taking part in the subsequent ones.
