The Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Sunyani, Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, visited the St. John Henry Newman Catholic Community of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR)-Sunyani, on March 21, 2021, the 5th Sunday of Lent.
As part of his homily, he entreats all Catholics to practice spiritual and bodily discipline for the real Easter experience. He added that, once we embark on the journey of spiritual and bodily discipline, God will glorify himself in us.
In his concluding remarks, he encouraged the catholic staff of the University to support the catholic students so that they may grow to be become responsible individuals and deepen their knowledge of the faith and doctrines of the Church.
