Radio Angelus marks 2 years of existence

Pacesetters of Catholic media in Ghana, Radio Angelus over the weekend marked their 2nd anniversary at the Holy Spirit Cathedral.

Holding truth to journalism, projecting the image of the Catholic Church and driving on the canons of the Catholic mission the past two years have not been easy.

Riding on the shoulders of relentless and selfless volunteers, Radio Angelus has contributed enormously to the call to the new evangelisation.

In just two years, the 24-hour online radio has been shaping careers and inspiring generations as well as forming and teaching Catholics in Ghana and worldwide about their faith.

Located at the heart of Holy Spirit Cathedral at Adabraka in Accra, radio Angelus has compelling contents such as Morning Express, Midmorning Cafe, National Focus, World Youth Day Diary as well as francophone friendly Pain De Vie among others.

 

On Sunday March 1st, 2020 management and staff of Radio Angelus met and shared the successes chalked the past two years.

To mark the two years of excellence in broadcasting, a one-hour cake cutting and champagne popping ceremony was put together to enable volunteers gather to assess, reflect and project for years to come.

Recounting on how radio Angelus started, how far it has come and where it will go in the near future, Director of Radio, Mr.Andy Manomey, was optimistic the station would go far in few years to come.
