It was a spectacular show on stage, “The Dawn of a New Day”, a drama displayed by Catholic Priests working in the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra took place at the forecourt of Christ the King School, Cantonments-Accra.

Very Rev. Fr. Raymond Osei Tutu, the Chancellor of the Archdiocese, the Executive Director of the drama said the purpose is to give hope to the hopeless, that a new dawn is coming to free all from suffering, especially in the midst of COVID 19 pandemic.
The drama was also to give hope to the world, that God will be their source of strength and freedom in hard times.
The drama was full of humour, excitement and laughter, nevertheless had biblical messages and the use of modern music, terms, dances and current affairs to the amusement of the hundreds of patrons present at the Christ the King parish on a Sunday night.
The Drama
The first part saw Grace Chorale sing melodious songs in different tongues: Latin, English, French and many more.

The first scene begun with an old man with two grandsons who had suffered at the hands of Covid 19, losing their mother and grandmother to the pandemic. Upon a visit by an Angel, the family decided to visit the king to enquire if indeed the pandemic was real and if he had a solution to it.
After going back and forth it was discovered that God is their divine healer.
Religious Sisters were there to grace to event
Proceeds made from the drama will go to support the building of a classroom block for the children at the Kressner Handmaids Orphanage at Otaten, in the outskirt of Amasaman in the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra.
