Mary Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church Odoben -Manhean, Ablekuman – Receives Archbishop Kwofie

The Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Reverend John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSP, has paid a pastoral visit to Mary Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church Odoben-Manhean, Ablekuma in the Ga West of the Greater Accra region.

The Mary Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church Odoben-Manhean, formally an outstation of St. Stephen Catholic Church, Darkuman, Accra in the Kaneshie Deanery of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra was elevated to Rectorate about five (5) months ago and currently has Rev. Fr. Jomat John, of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (C.M.I.) and a missionary priest from India.

The chief shepherd exhorted the candidates who received the Sacrament of Confirmation to take the sacraments of the holy Catholic church seriously. Based on the Holy Gospel reading taken from St. Luke 19:1-10, Archbishop Kwofie urged the faithful to share whatever they have with others, not to cheat anyone, and partake in church activities to strengthen their faith as Catholics.
A total number of forty-three (43) candidates received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Meanwhile, the Archbishop has also commissioned the newly built washrooms for the church.
