Kpehe Deanery gears up for maiden Camp Ignite in August

All is set for the maiden Kpehe Deanery Catholic Youth Council’s 4-day programme dubbed ‘Camp Ignite’.  From 29th August, 2019 at Our Lady of Grace SHS, Kumasi, youth of the Kpehe Deanery will be treated to so much fun and spiritual activities at the maiden Camp Ignite.

The camp is expected to host over 250 youth between the ages of 16 and 40 years from the 9 parishes and 5 outstations in the Kpehe Deanery.

Camp ignite seeks to build the spirituality of participants while fostering in them values of unity through socialization and also providing a platform for them in deep spiritual reflection and education.

The camp would provide participants the platform to tour some parts of Ghana and learn more about the country’s history.

Activities lined-up for spiritual development include a visit to Buoho Grotto, partner prayer walks and church service with the local community. There would also be a visit to the Kintampo waterfalls, the monkey sanctuary and a dinner night.

Following the success of its premier, the Deanery hopes to run the event every four years. It is expected to build the youth spiritually, bring them together for socialisation, networking and good grooming to imbibe love, peace and unity in the youth of the country at large.

The Kpehe Deanery consists of 9 parishes and 5 out-stations reaching through Accra- Newtown to Achimota, Pokuase and reaching Obuom, all in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
