Parochial Vicar of Assumption of Mary and St. Paul’s Catholic Church Parish in the Cape Coast Archdiocese, Rev. Fr. George Anthony Tandoh has released his maiden lead single titled “There is an appointed time for everything”
The piece, inspired by Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 , talks to the inner soul of every Christian reminding them of God’s appointed time.
Speaking to Angelus News about what he seeks to achieve with the piece, Fr. George Anthony Tandoh said it is important that people, particularly Christians do not give up on themselves regardless of the situation they find themselves in.
“I just wanted to encourage everyone never to give up in life. For there is time for everything. We are often competing. Greed has always been the problem of human life. Unfortunately, we end up competing for things which are valueless in the sight of God. We often rash for everything but there is time for everything,” he said.
He added that the sufferings of the world very often shifts the attention of Christians off the Grace of God.
“At the moment of suffering, we lose sight of God thinking that all is gone. There is time for everything. God has his own plans which are often different from ours. The time of God is structured such a way that relying on him is the best solution,” he averred.
