Priests in Koforidua Diocese donate medical supplies worth GHS16,620 to health facilities

The Koforidua Diocesan Priests’ Association (KODPA) in the early hours of Friday May 15, 2020 donated some Personal Protective Equipment and other medical supplies worth GHS 16,620 to the Koforidua Diocesan Health directorate as part of efforts to aid the fight against COVID-19.

The exercise was led by Fr. Joseph Asumadu, President of the Association in the company of some members of the association to mapped out Catholic health facilities in the Diocese.

Presenting the items, Fr. Asumadu noted that the exercise is to supplement the Government’s fight against the pandemic.

Msgr. Francis Twum-Barimah, Vicar General of the Diocese in receiving the items lauded the Association for the gesture and lauded for their generous contributions towards the purchase of the items.
