With barely 6 hours to the 10th priestly ordination anniversary of the Chancellor of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra and the founding Spiritual Director of Radio Angelus, Volunteers of the innovative evangelisation medium, Radio Angelus have described Rev. Fr. Anthony Agnes Adu-Mensah as a passionate priest with love for the media.
The Priest who they affectionately call “Ask the Catholic Priest, Alias Radio Angelus” have been a great support to the volunteers. They intimate that they cannot hide their joy as Fr. Agnes marks 10 years in priesthood.
Rev. Fr. Anthony Agnes Adu-Mensah was ordained a Catholic Priest by The Most Rev. Gabriel Charles Palmer – Buckle at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Accra on the 22nd August, 2009.
He was appointed to the Cathedral for sometime and later became the Chancellor of the Archdiocese and Secretary to the Archbishop. He played an instrumental role in the establishment of Radio Angelus.

Words alone cannot express what you are and what you have done for the Catholic Church and Team Radio Angelus. We promise to pray with Mother Mary for you as you requested. Permit us however, to tell God what you mean to us; God’s gift to us.
We dont know much about how you became the Archbishop’s secretary and Chancellor of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra but we know you do your work with diligence, maturity, professionalism, sacrifice, respect, and commitment. Your unassuming demeanor inspires many and it spreads like fire among God’s people. Your attractive smile calms the nerves of those around you.
Your seriousness in everything you do is very infectious and has touched many. We call you spiritual Father, we call you Ask the Catholic priest , we call you Agnes , we call you Anthony , we call you the liturgist , we call you Odadeɛ , we call you Radio Angelus , we call you the Church-Father ; this is what you epitomize. Your love for the Church and her faithful has moved you to be interested in the work of the media and this you have done well with decorum.
God bless you for being part of those who conceived the idea of forming radio Angelus. On this occasion of your 10 years in the ministerial priesthood, we pray that may God bless you and grant you more strength to witness to Him like St Agnes the Holy Virgin who sacrificed her life for the Church and for the work of God.
