A Catholic Priest of the Vurra Catholic Parish in Arua Diocese in Uganda in the early hours of Sunday, December 29 escaped narrowly from the hands of death when the car he was driving veered off the road flying into a tree near by.
Reports indicates that Father Abukua William was driving for Mass when the bizarre accident occurred. He reportedly tried to avoid crashing a group of suspected drunkard moving on the road and lost focus in the process.
The Ugandan Episcopal Conference shared the news on Facebook praying for Father Abukua William’s speedy recovery.
Many faithfuls shared their prayers on the post thanking God for saving the life of the priest. ”Lord of heaven n earth, the universe is here declares uo majesty coz of uo wonders n miracles,” a reader wrote.
”Awadifo Adroni… Asante Mungu… May we sing God’s praises for His good plans in our lives,” another said.
