St. Patrick PYC celebrates vals day with the needy, aged and sick

The St. Patrick Youth Council, Atomic – Kwabenya, Accra, celebrated this year’s Valentine’s Day with the needy, aged and sick.

Prior to the day of the celebration, the youth organized car wash for two consecutive Sundays to raise funds to support their agenda. Church members gladly endorsed the initiative to help put smiles on the faces of the needy, aged, and sick both in cash and kind.

On the D-day, the youth, priests and some church members sacrificed their vehicles to help reach the targeted group, gift them with some few consumables and share some love and laughter with the needy, aged and the sick. From all indications, the people appreciated the visit.

The day ended with the parish priest, Fr. Mintah expressing his appreciation to the youth and urged them to do more activities so that people who, for some reason, cannot join the church for mass and other activities do not feel neglected.
