The Youth Choir of the St. Charles Lwanga Parish, Abeka is embarking on a project remembering the aged and indisposed parishioners.
The year-long visitation project According to the group is aimed at putting a long-lasting smile on the faces of the aged and the sick even in their absence during the gathering of the faithful in the Lord.
It further serves as an avenue to reassure them of the love the church has for them.
The first visit was made to Mrs. Georgina Lyall on January 19, 2020, after Mass. Later, on February 16, 2019, Madam Paulina Akorli was also visited.
Background
The Youth Choir of St. Charles Lwanga Parish, as part of its program for the year, had discussions with the Parish Priest about the intended project.
The aim of the project is to put along lasting smile on the faces of the aged and the sick even in their absence during the gathering of the faithful in the Lord. Also to remind them of the love the church has for them.
In as much as the group wanted to keep these visitations as surprises, families of persons to be visited were informed to prevent inconveniences.
