St. Anthony of Padua Rectorate, Wulensi, witnessed an official elevation of the Rectorate to a full-fledged Parish coupled with an installation ceremony of Rev. Fr. Matthew Kwasi Ngiye as the shepherd of the Parish Parish on Sunday, December 22, 2019.
The ceremony began with Holy Mass concelebrated by Most Rev. Vincent Sowah Boi-Nai, (SVD), Bishop of Yendi Diocese.
In attendance were Fr. Joseph Kofi Sukpe, Parish Priest of Bimbilla and dean of Bimbilla deanery, Frs. Eugene and David, Religious sisters from Yendi, Bimbilla, Lungni communities and the faithful of Wulensi.
The parish Priest in his welcome address thanked the Bishop for the opportunity given him to represent him at Wulensi in the service of God and his people and acknowledged the tremendous work done by his predecessors.
The ceremony was climaxed with a warm send-off reception for Frs. Jacob and Camillo for their immense support for the Parish.
