Rev. Fr. Stephen Kofi Sakpaku Launched His Second Book

Rev. Fr. Stephen Kofi Sakpaku has reiterated the important role of Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ, to the salvation story of mankind.

Rev. Fr. Sakpaku indicated that, “it is clearly written in the books of Revelations, chapter 12 that “in the salvation history only one woman contributed, and that is the Virgin Mary.

Rev. Fr. Sakpaku, a Catholic Priest of the Archdiocese of Accra but works in the Donkokrom Apostolic Vicariate, made these observations at the launch of his second book at the Mary Mother of Good Counsel, Airport, Accra.

Titled, ‘The Woman Clothed with the Sun: Litany of Mother Mary’, the 130 page book, 6 chapters and other prayers in the book which will be of great benefit to readers.

The book launch was graced by dignitaries and parishioners from Mary Mother of Good Counsel parish, family and friends of Rev. Fr. Sakpaku, as well as a host of Reverend Sisters, and priests from the Archdiocese of Accra, especially Rev. Fr. Sakpaku’s classmates who made a special donations to support their brother.

 Notable among the guests were the outgoing and incoming Vicar Generals of the Archdiocese of Accra, Monsignor Francis Adoboli and Very Rev. Fr. John Louis respectively. Also present was the Parish Priest of Mary Mother of Good Counsel parish, Very Rev. Fr. David Arko Amissah.

Rev. Fr. Sakpaku said that he was humbled about the numbers and how the whole event transpired. He thanked everyone and expressed his profound gratitude to all who made the book launch a success. He encouraged all to grab a copy of the book for their spiritual growth.
