Rev. Fr. Ebenezer Akesseh Appointed Parish Priest of Christ The King, Accra

News reaching the news desk of Radio Angelus is that Very Rev. Fr. Ebenezer Akesseh has been appointed as the Parish Priest of Christ the King Catholic Church, Cantonments, Accra effective 1st June 2021.

Rev. Fr. Andrew Campbell, SVD, who turned 75 years on March 27, 2021, and is due for retirement, will be leaving the Parish at the end of May.

Profile of Fr. Akesseh

Rev. Fr. Ebenezer Akesseh is a priest from the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra. He served as the Catholic Chaplain at the University of Ghana between 2006 and 2013.

He obtained his first degree in Sociology and Religions from the University of Ghana in 2000. His love for teaching made him pursue a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of Cape Coast in 2001.

He pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Sociology in 2008 and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Business Management in 2011 at the University of Ghana.

His interest in bridging Sociology and Business Management with Theology led him to the University of Notre Dame in 2013 to pursue a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) and a Ph. D. with Moral Theology as his area of concentration.
