Peprah family donates signage to Taifa Church

A votive offering may be a sum of money, a shrine, sacred vessel, jewel, sculpture or anything that reflects the sentiments of the donor as an act of sacrifice.

It is mostly given as an act of appreciation for some favour received, in petition for a favor asked for, and hence the name, in discharge of a vow (votum) or promise made.

It is in view of this that on the occasion of the 70th anniversary  of Madam Theresah Peprah of the St. Domininic Catholic Church, Taifa, She, together with her family and friends joined Parishioners on Sunday, October 6 to unveil a signage  donated to the St. Dominic community.

The occasion which coincided with the official welcoming of the first Parish priest of the Church, was witnessed by Frs. Emmanuel Obeng Codjoe, Courage Senam Dogbey, Mark Mandela Anyigba , Samuel Akoto Mensah as well as Raphael Azarias Benuyenah.
