PAX UG RESTORATION 2023

PAX UG RESTORATION 2023

The Catholic community at the University of Ghana (UG), Pax UG local, has organized a 3-day intense and power-packed spiritual program titled RESTORATION. The theme for this year’s RESTORATION, which used to be called Pax Crude was “I will restore unto thee” (Jeremiah 30:17).

The parish priest of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Legon and Chaplain of Pax UG local, Rev. Fr. William Abeiku Apprey, in his welcome address, encouraged all especially the students to invite their Catholic friends on campus to participate in the program.

The energy at RESTORATION’23 was sprit-filled and testimonies of the Lord’s goodness were reported even before the end of the 3-day program. The 3-day spiritual program began on February 8 and concluded with a half-night on February 10.

Rev. Fr. Ezekiel Farouk Suley from the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese graced this year’s RESTORATION as the guest speaker for the three days

Ministers Calvin Xatse, Divine Fiave, and Apostle Peter Owusu Ansah all graced the occasion with their powerful songs of ministration. Also, Hearts of Worship (HOW) and Vessels of Worship (VOW), the ITI UG CCR singing ministry and choreography group respectively ministered with their songs and dances.

Notwithstanding, the Royals of Salem, the choreography group in Pax UPSA gave a resplendent choreography ministration, while the UG Pax choir raised the spirits of the church with their harmonious high-life choral songs.

The following are some takeaways from the three-day restoration.
