Old boys of Pope John (POJOBA) set to hold Founders Day celebration

Former students of Pope John Senior High and Minor Seminary in the Koforidua Diocese will on January 21, 2020 hold mass at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka, Accra, to mark the schools’ Founders Day celebration.
The day is marked annually to remember those who birthed and laid down their service for the development of the school and also an opportunity for members to get together, especially the beginning of the year.

Rev. Fr. Kpanie Addy, S.J., a POJOBA is expected to be the main celebrant for the mass who will supported by other POJOBA Priests.
POJOBA from the various generations will be also expected to grace the occasion.

Mr. David Noi (Jayman), the incoming Vice president of POJOBA tells Angelus News the celebration becomes the first event for the Old Boys Association and paves way for subsequent programs.
“It becomes the first event for us old boys, so we will use that to begin the year and launch the rest of our programs” he said.
He added that the school has a speech day scheduled for February where there will be a handing over ceremony to new executives of the Old Boys Association and all old boys are expected to be present.
