Odorkor: St John the Baptist holds golden jubilee business fair.

As part of activities to mark its Golden jubilee, St john the Baptist parish, Odorkor has put together a business fair to promote businesses of parishioners. Radio Angelus today joined other 19 exhibitors to showcase their products and talk about services they provide.

This week marks the second week of the fair and last week saw about 10 businesses display their wares. Some exhibitors who participated in today’s fair were Naya’s cake o’clock, Apobile collections, HS remain ventures- dealers in lubricants and Danmus Events.

Speaking to some exhibitors, they were excited to have the opportunity. Mrs Roseline Asiedu of Apobile Collections said “the first week, it was advertisement and marketing, but this is the second week and the second week so far so good, people are participating.

Even though some don’t have cash but we are trying to make it mobile money since nowadays we use mobile money. So I think it’s a nice idea of the church giving us the opportunity to exhibit what we are selling”

A participant, Mr Daniel Sasu added that “the exhibition is going on well, exhibitors are showing their goods and their goods are all nice and they are affordable. I’m still encouraging other people who haven’t had the chance to come around, to come and see and buy something. It’s all about linking ourselves00 providing businesses among ourselves in the church”.

The climax of the business fair alongside a homecoming for all past parishioners comes off on Sunday, August 11 and is expected to see over 30 exhibitors.
