Gij Pax Romana pays courtesy call on Archbishop Kwofie

Members of the Ghana Institute of Journalism Pax Romana local, earlier today, Thursday November 7, 2019 payed a courtesy visit to the Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, Cssp.

The group was led by its Chaplain Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obeng Cudjoe and President, Felicia Kwarteng with the aim of introducing the GIJ Pax Local  and formally invite him to the inaugural ceremony of the group.

The Archbishop expressed his profound gratitude to the members for their visit and promised to visit the school even though he will be unable to attend the inaugural ceremony.

He then called on the Chaplain, Rev Fr Emmanuel Obeng Cudjoe to stand in his stead at the inaugural ceremony.

The Archbishop also advised the members who were mainly Journalism and Public Relations students to remain focused and passionate about their chosen careers and to take their studies seriously.

Responding to a question from one of the members on the ownership of a media outlet by the Catholic Church in Ghana, the archbishop said, everyone should prepare and remain hopeful as actions are being taken to establish a radio and television stations for the church.
