GIJ Pax Romana bids Fr. Addelaayitar goodbye

The International Movement of Catholic Students Pax Romana GIJ local has presented a citation to their spiritual director, Rev. Father Prince Emmanuel Addelaayitar at a send-off dinner organised by the Youth of St. James Catholic Church on Saturday, September 29.

The Citation was presented to honour him for being the students’ spiritual director and chaplain as well as a great supporter since the establishment of the student movement at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Some of the youth of the St. James parish present at the dinner also expressed their Joy and experiences with the man of God  how they are going to miss him when he finally leaves for his new parish and promises to always visit him at his new parish.

Fr. Prince also shared with those present his life story and encourage the youth to keep their faith in God and trust God always in all that they do and advice them to Go for Regular confession as that will help build up their spiritual life and bring them closer to God.

” I will miss you,” he said.

Fr. Addelaayitar was part of priests asked by the Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwoffie to continue their priestly duties elsewhere in what is described as a reshuffle in early September 2019. He has since October 1, started work at St. Maurice Catholic Church, La.
