On Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Franciscan Valley of Prayer and Silence the Friars gathered to pay their last respect and to give a befitting farewell to one of our first and elder brothers who sowed the Franciscan seed in Ghana, Friar Giorgio Abram.
The Apostolic Nuncio to Ghana, Most Rev. Henryk honoured the day with his presence and also presided at the Requiem Mass. Present at the celebration of life were also Most Rev. Matthias Nketisiah (Archbishop Emeritus of Cape Coast), the Apostolic Administrator of Sekondi-Takoradi, Friar Anthony Bezo (the Assistant General for the Africa-AFCOF), priests and religious, and lay faithful.
Eternal rest grant unto him and His perpetual light shine upon him, Amen.
