Catholic Priest takes on road restoration project

Seeing the deplorable state of the Omuma-Okehi road, a Priest working in Omuma, Rivers state is doing all he can to make the road accessible. The road has over the years gone from bad to worse as government after government looks on.

Rev. Fr. Peterdeebom Peterdeebom, a Priest of the Catholic Diocese of Port Harcourt has embarked on getting the road rid of water when it rains to enable the people of Omuma ply the road with ease.

In a Facebook post, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Elubo Parish attests that, “the government seems to have forgotten this area, just like other places too. The young priest decide not to wait anymore for them, and he started the work himself so that the people of Omuma can see a good road to pass.”
