Caritas Ghana , Sun24 to hold training on rocks cook-stove usage

Technology has brought a lot of advancement in the daily activities of humans, replacing some old ways of engaging in certain activities. In as much as technology has made work easier, we cannot totally do away with our primitive methods of doing things.

Caritas Ghana and Sun 24 Incorporated are embarking on a journey to bring back an old method of cooking that existed before the invention of the gas cooker. This is a training of trainers on sustainable cook stove using rocks and is under the theme, “Taking care of our common home”.

The program is slated for Wednesday, August 21 2019 at the Holy Spirit Cathedral Hall and is event is expected to be graced by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie.

ABOUT CARITAS GHANA & SUN 24 INC

Caritas Ghana is a Charity Organization of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC) and member of the global Caritas Confederation. It operates under the National Catholic Secretariat.

Sun24 on the other hand, is a nonprofit that helps the poorest of poor in developing countries with solar lights, cook stoves and eyeglasses.
