An Atlanta-based benevolent group has donated some food items to priests in the Wiawso Diocese in Ghana.
The items were presented through Monsignor Simon Asamoah, Vicar General of the Diocese to be disbursed to Priests and Religious working in the Diocese.

Some items donated
Msgr Asamoah indicated that the relief packages were given out to support the priests and religious in the Diocese to ease them from the struggles of the pandemic.
He further revealed that personal Protective Equipment had been donated to hospitals in Enchi and Asankragua with an extension to the Bibiani Government Hospital and the St. John of God Hospital at Asafo In the coming weeks.
Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Jones Mensah, Chancellor of the Diocese and Very Rev. Samuel Nkuah Boateng, president of the Priests Association, expressed their gratitude for the gesture.
