Be the difference you wish to see in society – Archbishop Kwofie urges Catholics

The  Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie has called on Catholics to be the difference they wish to see in society.

The Prelate said this at the climax  Mass of the 75th Anniversary of St. Paul Catholic Church, Kpehe on February 9, 2020.

Speaking on the theme of the anniversary, “Call to Holiness” in his homily, the Archbishop advised that in our call to holiness as Christians and Catholics, there is a need to always remember to stand for Justice. Urging that the Christian are the salt and light of the world.

He added that the church is called to love justly and share what it has with others especially with the needy and the homeless as well as comfort the broken.

He noted that if the church loses its virtues, it has lost everything. ”It is very necessary that our virtues as a church are preached and upheld everywhere at every time and that is how we as a church can stand and make the difference,” he said.

Present at the Mass was the Minister of Information, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as well as Former President of the Republic of Ghana,  His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings.
