Msgr. John Louis, Vicar general of Accra on Friday, May 1, 2020, donated food items and Personal Protective Equipment to the City of God; one of the social services of the Archdiocese.
He made the donation on behalf of the Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie to provide relief to residents and also curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The items which included rice, oil, tin fish, sanitizers, liquid soap, veronica buckets, face mask’s among others were received by Rev. Fr. Subah, Priest-in-charge of the City of God Project.
This is one of the many interventions by the Archdiocese to not only Catholics but those in need since the outbreak of COVID-19.
