Rev. Msgr. John Baptist Attakruh, Bishop-elect of the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese, has in communiqué addressed to the Clergy, Religious and the Faithful in the Diocese announced the passing of the mother of Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra and former Bishop of the Diocese.
The communique explained that Mrs. Agnes Kwofie (mother of Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie), passed on at the Jubilee Children’s Hospital, Apowa in the Sekondi-Takoradi Diocese yesterday.

With deep sorrow, I announce the demise of Mrs. Agnes Kwofie, the mother of Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra.
Mrs. Agnes Kwofie passed on yesterday evening at the Jubilee Children’s Hospital, Apowa.
Please, do well to pray for the repose of her soul, and to also remember in your prayers Archbishop Kwofie and the entire bereaved family.
