Agona: St. Peters Catholic Church marks Holy Innocents Day

Holy Innocents is a Holy day within the octave of Christmas that Holy Mother the church calls on her faithful to reflect on the sacrifice of the young ones for Christ and how the Church needs to focus on the formation of children. We have to form the younger generation with missionary intent and train them to understand the missionary mandate of the Church.

It is in the light of this that the Rector of St. Peter’s Catholic Rectorate, Agona in Ashanti Region and the Diocesan Director of the Pontifical Missions Societies, Rev. Fr. Seth Frimpong together with the missionary childhood animators took their kids to Ratray Park after celebrating Mass with them, to make them feel loved, and relevant so that they can reciprocate it among their peers.

Below are pictures from the event.
