Hundreds of Catholic Youth from the Ho Deanery converged at St. Anthony Catholic Church Taviefe Aviefe to celebrate their 2020 youth rally.
The celebration which commenced from Friday 14th to 16th February 2020, was on the theme; ”Baptised and sent, the Church of Christ on mission in the world”.
Mr Bismarck Tay, Former Diocesan Youth Chairman, who spoke on the theme for the anniversary urged the young people to be true worshippers of Christ and always use our God-given talent to glorify God in all things.
He also advised all youth to be true ambassadors of Christ.
Mr. Edem kpotosu, delivered a talk on the significance of marriage. As youth, he noted that ”We must make the right decision and never to rush into marriage.”
The rally was climaxed with a thanksgiving Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church Taviefe, Aviefe.
The Mass was presided by Rev.Fr Sebastian Eli Tsedza Parish Priest,
Concelebrated by Rev Fr Fidelis Kumado Ho Diocesan Youth Chaplain who doubles as the Ho Deanery Chaplain
Rev Fr Fidelis Kumado who delivered the Homily asked the youth to always avoid wrong and always strive for the best devoid of hatred.
He again admonished the youths that, God’s word should be the light that should always shine in their lives.
He urged Catholics especially the youth to always listen to the voice of God and help the poor around them.
